As faculty develop new courses, they want to get the word out to as many potential students as possible. One way to do this is through the NC State Billboard system for digital signs.
A faculty member asked for proofreading of a new course description. After seeing new course announcements on other campus screens, I created one for this new course being offered in Fall 2018. Using existing slides as examples, I created a slide for Reproductive Endocrinology of Fowl. After adding it to the Billboard system, I reached out to allied departments and the college intranet so that they would know about the course and the digital sign for the course.
Creating this slide was straightforward once I recolored the hormone icon to align with the NC State brand palette. The background is a secondary color and the icon uses grays from the palette.
